Nigeria
Nigeria is the epitomization of Paul's words to the Romans, "where sin abounds, grace does much more abound." There is violence and corruption in the land but the churches are vibrant and powerful in the Spirit of God. On this trip Kent was acting as an emmisary for Victory Christian Church in Ohio to their church in Lagos. The church had been meeting for Bible study and prayer but had never been constituted as a church. Kent's mission was to initiate some of the legal processes that had to take place and ordain the pastor Emmanuel Ihenacho. The teaching was timely and well received but the most beneficial were the private times of mentoring at the hotel with pastor Emmanuel and the leadership.
